The purpose of this blog is to document my daily projects and my attempt to create a personalized unique quality home. My husband and I built our first house in 1987. If I had a dime for every time we thought about how we should have done it differently...but I don't.  We started building our second house in 2009 with the intention to incorporate all of those little things we forgot the first time around. And we are still working on it!  Its been a challenge but the work is worth the reward. This blog will show some of the quirky design ideas that we had and hopefully will inspire others.
